We're a small team building something we care about, and we'd rather tell you plainly what we do with your details than hide it in small print.

Who we are

Revival Space is the trading name of Revival Space Collective Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17387699). Our registered office is 3 Brand Road, Eastbourne, BN22 9PX. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

Questions about your data: revivalspaceuk@gmail.com

What we collect, and why

When you join the waitlist. Your first name and email address. We use them to email you about Revival Space: build updates, opening news, founding member places and our monthly newsletter, The Monthly Dip. We do this with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Mailchimp also records whether you open our emails and click links, plus the rough location of your sign-up, so we can see what's useful.

If you joined through one of our Instagram or Facebook ads. Meta passes us what you typed into the form. Some people also told us roughly where they live, how often they'd visit and what they'd pay. We use this to plan where, when and how we open. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with your data.

Our "Shape Our Space" questionnaire. It's anonymous. We don't ask for your name or email. If you type something that identifies you into an open answer, we'll treat it as personal data.

Notes. We may keep short internal notes against your waitlist entry, such as how you found us or whether you know us personally. You can ask to see them.

Our website. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may log technical details such as your IP address to deliver the site securely. If we ever add tracking, we'll ask you first and update this page.

Health information. We don't collect any now. When we open, guests will complete a short health form before their first session. Health information gets extra protection, so we'll give you a separate notice explaining how it's used and kept before you fill it in. We'll also explain how we check concession eligibility, such as NHS, Blue Light Card, student or over-65 rates, when we open.

Under 18s. Revival Space is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.

If you contact us

If you email us or message us on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, we'll use what you send to reply. Those platforms' own privacy policies cover what they do with your messages.

Who we share it with

We use a few trusted tools to run things, and they handle your data on our behalf:

Some of these are based in the US. Where your data goes outside the UK, it's protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your data, and we never pass it to anyone else for their own marketing. We'll only share it if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

After that, we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

You can also withdraw your consent whenever you like. Email revivalspaceuk@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd always prefer a chance to put it right first.

Keeping it safe

Your details are kept in password-protected accounts, and access is limited to the people who need it.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
